Overcome Evil

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

It is always the evil one trying to grind us into the ground, so we cannot get up. But by God's grace we shall overcome.

At such time you have to focus more on the finished work of Christ, your own spiritual height and the power of the Holy Spirit. There is one way to overcome problems, no matter where they come from. Firstly, you have to get focused on the Word of God, and make it your own by claiming His promises.

In reality life has different ways to ensnare us with many "hooks and eyes" and even with great struggles. Although others may pretend that all is well, we know better. Nobody can avoid difficult times.

The difference in this is how God's people handle such situations. Most of the time our first reaction will throw us off and can make a person pretty upset, which is probably justified.

At this point it would be more beneficial, if we would ask ourselves if our reaction to the situation will harm ourselves more than doing good. And 99% of the time it does more harm.

This means that we should face the difficult times square on, or allowing the hurts to have a negative effect on us, either way (one or the other). Allowing a short period to mourn is natural way of defence, but do NOT ALLOW IT TO LINGER on.

The most effective way is to bring the whole mess at the feet of the Lord, and cry out to Him. I myself had to do this several times. This all in order to be able to let go and free

yourself of enormous pressure, which is not good for your health and for your relationship with others.

If one hangs on for too long without letting it go, it may become a real burden in ones life, and the joy of the Lord will soon fade away.

Nobody's life is perfect, not even the Preacher's life is smooth. There are powers of darkness (the devil himself) who are out to destroy mankind's life and happiness. This has been a fact.

John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The only strength you and I have is to surrender our ALL TO God, so that the attacks on us will not have a reverse effect on our lives. We cannot handle the adversities thrown at us, we need God's strength and help which comes through the power of the Holy Spirit.

1Peter 5:6-11 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, makes you perfect, establishes, strengthens, settles you.

To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I hope and pray, that the above will be helpful to you. 
That you will be able to SHAKE OFF all that is bothering you, because it will eventually destroy your peace, joy and your health.

Keep on presenting this whole issue to the Lord, allow the Father to TAKE IT, as you let it go. Keep bringing this before God's throne until it has left you. Rebuke these lying evil spirits in Jesus name, tell him to go where he belongs. 

Go in the power of God's Spirit. I also rebuke these evil spirits who are trying to destroy you, in the name of ALMIGHTY GOD. Who the Father sets free is FREE indeed.

Put your trust in POWERFUL NAME JESUS, FOR HIS GLORY.

Keep fighting the good fight of Faith, for you are called to be a CONQUEROR with Christ. HALLELUJAH!

As you allow the Holy Spirit to flow through you, you shall overcome according to God's Word.

Rest in the finished work of Christ, and be restored by His Victory on Calvary's hill. The finished work of Christ is His part to rescue you from the powers of hell, to set you free.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15 

God's Love has restored your life, therefore stand tall in the fight against evil so the name of God, the Father will be glorified.
