An important issue is that we stay thankful and happy in the Lord. Often we need to go against our feelings, being able to be joyful even if there is little to be happy about.
This life is not giving us great joy or satisfaction, even if one would have anything his heart desires. LIFE is having Christ as your Savior and Redeemer, and to know that you will not end up in the darkness and pain of hell.
As long as we keep our eyes focused on the Savior and all He did for us, in order to give us Eternal Life. We can call ourselves being BLESSED of the LORD. The riches we have acquired through Him has ETERNAL value, but the rest is perishable and will be worthless "riches" left behind if you die before using it. Let us be honest about it.
DO YOU GET IT?
We have to teach ourselves to stay focused on the word of God. As soon as His child begins to look for earthly riches instead of to focus on God's will, he/she may even lose whatever they possess. This may be considered God's mercy "in disguise", to prevent eternal loss of his/her soul due to indulging in the things of this world.
We have to learn and to practice to give everything over to God. ALL that we have or want to have. Acknowledge that you were born naked and had nothing to claim your own.
Giving ALL to Jesus Christ does not mean you'll losing all, but rather a trade-off for something much better.
Christ gave His "BEST" for us, at least we can give Him our mess.
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Let us follow the SHEPHERD, He who has the best in mind for us.
PRAISE THE NAME OF GOD ALMIGHTY.
