God's Purpose

           Walking in God's Direction

Dear Friend in Christ, greetings to you. Be blessed by the following writing.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

If we just would apply God's word to our life things will turn out so much different, and so much better. You may not see clearly the direction God is taking you and you wonder if the Father did misunderstand your request.

You're thinking God is going the opposite way, because you have ask for a palace and you're heading for jail.

Often the Father, in His wisdom, will lead you first through a learning experience of eating your plate of "potatoes", before giving you the "cake". You may struggle, because you did not asked for potatoes... and you may become rebellious.

In that case you will need to start all over again. The Father is teaching you first to do as He told you, and if you "graduate" in this, He will surely lead you to higher ground.

You will be going through a "process" of learning to do what He requires from you, before He makes you the "Captain of the Ship".

He will be watching how you react; if you call upon His name; or if you're going your own way. In the last case He will repeat the "lesson".

God desires that you follow Him wherever He leads, and not for you to take the "Side-road". Until you learn to walk blindfolded, proclaiming Psalm 23,

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastors.
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul;
He leads me on the path of Righteousness For His name's sake.

God uses any situation/circumstances for you to learn to TRUST HIM NO MATTER WHAT. All for His glory, while in the mean time teaching you to trust Him completely. AMEN!

If you wish God's involvement in your life and you desire your prayers to be answered, act upon God's Word because reading only does not benefit you at all.

GET RID OF THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD, because they (sin, worldliness and association with it) will keep you down when Jesus appears on the clouds to meet His Bride in a twinkling of an eye... and you will miss out if worldly issues cling onto you.

Once you have learned to follow the Father little by little, God will lift you up to higher ground and will use you for FAR GREATER THINGS and for His GLORY.

Just watch His movements, while He is using you!

AMEN!

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

This is a very fine post, Dr. Veerman! Thank you for reminding us, in essence, to keep our eyes on the Prize and not the consolation gifts of this world. God bless you
